Advent | Seed of Christmas
The narrative of Scripture is not simply a compilation of stories or tall tales. Rather, it is outlining for us one singular storyline. More specifically, it is a story of salvation. As this story unfolds, it does so by way of covenant promises by God to ultimately restore a people to Himself. Despite man’s continual disobedience, God is faithful to his covenant promises. These covenants are the seeds that point us to a final covenant. The culmination of these previous covenants find their fulfillment and completion in the incarnation of Jesus who would accomplish the work of salvation.

Doxology
Doxology is an expression of praise to God. Wrapped up in doxology is singing. Worshiping God through song seems to hold an important place in the gathering of the Church. This is because throughout the Scriptures the people of God are called to glorify God through music. Psalm 100 encourages us to make a joyful noise to the Lord. Psalm 150 addresses everything that has breath with this command, Praise the Lord. Why is singing so important? What does singing do? We will look at God’s Word together to discover the importance of singing in this series called Doxology.
