The elders of Missio invite you to join our leadership team on the 2nd Tuesday of April, May, and June for a special time of prayer and fasting as we humbly and collectively appeal to God for His purposes to be carried out in the lives of the people of Missio Church, and in the lives of men, women, and children living in our geography. 

Fasting is a discipline that fosters earnestness in our prayers, compelling us to align with God's desires and purposes. It's not about manipulating God to do our bidding, but rather about surrendering our will to His. Additionally, fasting has a way of sharpening our intercessions, and increasing our urgency and dependence upon God to accomplish what only He can do.

As Psalm 127:1 reminds us, "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." Our mission is futile without God's leading and empowerment. 

So the ask is that you’d join us in fasting through Breakfast and Lunch on those designated Tuesdays, and, if possible, that you’d join us at 7am on these days at either our Downtown or Cazenovia locations for an hour of intentional prayer together. 

If you're unable to attend in person, we encourage you to participate from wherever you are.
