Exodus | Redeemed for Worship
Exodus begins by showing that God has begun to fulfill his promise to Abram in Genesis 12 which promises to make him a great nation. The trouble is that this great nation is in a foreign land under a harsh tyrant. God hears the cry of His people and miraculously redeems his people from slavery in Egypt. After calling them out of bondage, he gives them both His law and instruction regarding His dwelling place, the tabernacle. Essentially, God gives them guidance on how to live and respond in worship in the presence of the One who has redeemed them. We pray that as we journey through Exodus we will together find great joy in the God who is at work redeeming a people for himself and respond with faithful lives worship.
